| About | Richard D. Terry, 77, passed away on Sunday September 30, 2012. He was a native of Beaver, Ohio and had been a resident of Newport News, VA for over 20 years. Richard worked in the nuclear energy field and owned and operated Terry Associates. He was a lifetime member of the American Health Physics Society. Richard was preceded in rest by his father, DeWitt Terry and mother, Christina Smith. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Betty Davis Terry, sons: Eric D. Terry and wife Leslie Terry, and Matt Terry, daughter, Brenda Terry Haag and husband, Jess, seven grandchildren: Carlton Scott Mitchell and wife, Kimberly, Heather Ann Mitchell, Hunter Terry, Emma Terry, Reed Terry, Emily Flynn, and Jessica Birch. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 Friday, October 5, 2012 at Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly. Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday in the Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
