| About | Robert Dean Deering, 20, of Elm Grove, died unexpectedly late Monday afternoon at his home there. He had been in ill health recently and had been discharged several days ago from the hospital. A native of Pike County and a [1967] Piketon High School graduate, he was born on July 12, 1949, a son of Robert Deering and Aldena (Smith) Dering, both of whom survives at home. Also surviving are two brothers, a twin, Randy Deering, a student at Ohio State University, Columbus and John Burns of Cleveland. The body was brought to the Howe Funeral Home in Piketon, pending funeral arrangements, which had not been completed at press time Tuesday. October 23, 1969 Waverly Watchman |
