About | Mr. Rocky Allen Woolridge, 50, of South Shore, Ky., died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at 9:55 a.m. at his residence, following an extended illness. Surviving are his daughters, Tracy Wooldridge of Waverly, Jodie (Brent) Nichols of Lucasville, Jamie Wooldridge of Waverly, Regina (Luke) Nellroover of South Shore, Ky., and his special friend Marita Massie of Piketon and five grandchildren, Andrew, Alexandria, Vole, Molly and Caleb, and one to arrive in January. Also surviving are his parents, Alva (Buster) Woolridge and Helen (Brewster) Wooldridge of Piketon. Grandmother, Viola Brewster of Piketon, and two brothers, Rick (Teresa) Wooldridge and Mick (Theresa) Wooldridge, both of Piketon, and one sister, Tabby Smith of Piketon, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick Ryan Wooldridge. He was owner and operator of the R. A. Wooldridge Lumber Co. for 30 years and an active member of the National Cutting Horse Association and the Southwest Cutting Horse Affiliate, he also was a member of the Allen Chapel Church of Christ, Maloneton, Kentucky. Memorial services will be held at the Allen Chapel Church of Christ, on Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at 11 a.m. with Minister Donald Thomas officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Services will be under the direction of the Robinson Funeral Home in South Shore Kentucky.
