| About | Rudolph F. (Rudy) Wilisch, Piketon Board Member, Dies Rudy Wikisch, 56, of 120 East Second Street, Piketon died at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21 in Chillicothe Hospital where he had been a patient for nine days. He had been in ill health for several years, but only seriously ill for four weeks. A native of Piketon he had served for 12 years as Clerk of the Board of Public Affairs there, was a former employe at Cooper’s Store and at one time operated Rudy’s Grocery in Wellston, O. He was a 1927 graduate of Piketon High School and a member of the Piketon Methodist Church. Born August 1, 1909 in Piketon he was a son of Arthur and Alice (Newton) Wilisch. On February 11, 199238 he married the former Mary Shy, who survives at home. Also surviving is one brother, Richard Wilisch of Huntington, WV. And several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Howe Co. Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Card officiating. Burial will followed in Mound Cemetery. June 22, 1966 Waverly Watchman |
