| About | Pike County News-Watchman (Waverly, OH) - Sunday, February 15, 2009 Ruth Evanelene Howe Lute, 80, of Piketon, Ohio, died Thursday, February 12, 2009 in Pike Community Hospital, Waverly, Ohio. She was born May 8, 1928 in Piketon, daughter of the late Orval C. Howe and Florence C. Daily Howe. Several cousins as well as many friends survive Ruth. Ruth was retired as Pike County Court Clerk and was a former writer of "Piketon Chatter" in the Waverly News Watchman and was a member of Piketon-Jasper United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday February 16, 2009 at Mound Cemetery in Piketon with Pastor David Burriss officiating.
