Ruth Evelyn Caudill, 74, of Grove City, Ohio died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at her home. She was born September 23, 1939 in Piketon, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ernest Mitchell Osborn and Edith Avenelle (Carson) Osborn. On December 29, 1961, Ruth was united in marriage to Alderson “Audie” Caudill who preceded her in death on December 25, 2012. Ruth was also preceded in death by brother, Richard Osborn and sister, Mary Frances “Frankie” Osborn. Surviving are three children, Michelle Naillon and husband Joe of San Jose, CA, Matthew Caudill and wife April and Mark Caudill, both of Grove City, Ohio, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, brothers, Charles N. Osborn and wife Terrye and Preston Osborn and wife Cathie, both of Piketon, Ohio, sister, Norma McFann of Piketon, Ohio and sister in law, Barbara Osborn of Chillicothe, Ohio. Ruth was a member of Joan Heights Church of Christ in Christian Union, where her husband, Audie was Pastor. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the HOWE WHEELER BOYER HORNBACK FUNERAL HOME in Piketon, Ohio with the Rev. Joe Duvall, officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
