| About | Steven Beril Crace, age 70, of Pine Street, Piketon, Ohio, died 11:20 P.M. Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the Pike Community Hospital Emergency Room. He was born October 13, 1940 in Wakefield, Ohio, a son of the late Beril and Margaret Alleen Crain Crace. Survivors include his companion of twenty-four years, Patti Taylor, one son and daughter-in-law, Scot and Stacy Crace of Waverly, step daughter, Kimberly Brabson. grandchildren, Sidney, Samuel, Saylor, Sadie, Matthew, and Jon Crace, Bailey and Maddy Brabson, and Steven Zimmerman, one sister, Sherry Roberts of Columbus, Ohio, and best friend, Randy Zimmerman. He was preceded in death by one son, Stanley David Crace, and one brother, Paul Edwin Crace. Steve was a retired Education Administrator, was a Seal Township Trustee, a member and trustee of the Waverly Eagles Lodge, a member of the Waverly Moose Lodge, IOOF, and the NRA. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor David Burriss officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Piketon. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. |
