| About | Virginia Jean Silcott, 86, of St Rt #220, Piketon, Ohio died 1:45 a.m. Monday, 16 March 2015 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio Virginia was born 26 June 1928 in the Newton Twp., Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Alfred David Legg and Myrtle Alice (Anderson) Legg. She was united in marriage on 22 March 1947 to Ernest "Abe" Silcott, Jr. who preceded her in death on 22 August 2009. Surviving are a son, Dan Silcott of Chillicothe, Ohio, two daughters, Erna Pfeifer and husband Ronald of Piketon, Ohio and Gina Bradley of Gahanna, Ohio, four grandchildren, Jennifer Risner, Zack Pfeifer, Rachel Zabloudil and Christopher Bradley and six great grandchildren, Eric Acord, Hannah Risner, Emma Pfeifer, Jack Pfeifer, Owen Bradley and Aurora Zabloudil. She was attending Huntington Chapel Church, Graduate of Piketon High School and retired Secretary for the Waverly City Schools. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandson, Adam Risner, son-in-law Kerry Bradley and 14 brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, 19 March 2015 in Mound Cemetery, Piketon, with Rev Marlin Kellough, Officiating.
