| About | Virginia Mae Persinger, 59 of Zahn's Corner, Waverly, Ohio, Ohio died Friday August 10, 2012 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. She was born July 14, 1953 in Kanauga, Ohio, daughter of the late Harold Lloyd Persinger and Anna Elizabeth Quillen Persinger. Surviving is a brother, Jerry O. Persinger of Waverly, five sisters, Thelma Bryant and husband Dick of Waynesville, Ohio, Penny K. Persinger of Canton, Michigan, Diane Nunn and husband Jim of Ashland, Kentucky, Rebecca Pate and husband Chuck of Bainbridge, Ohio and Brenda Thompson of Hilliard, Ohio. In addition to her parents, a sister, Gail Persinger preceded Virginia in death. Virginia was a retired Nursing Assistant at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday August 14, 2012 at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon, Ohio, with Pastor Jeff Donahue and Chuck Pate officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon.
