About WHEELER Alan F. Wheeler, age 51, died Friday, February 6, 2009 after a long illness. Preceded in death by mother Marjorie (Jones) Wheeler, father Okie D. Wheeler, and brother Darwin H. Wheeler. Survived by son, Thomas A. Wheeler; sister, Anona K. Wheeler; brother-in-law, Thomas E. Greene; best friend, Vincent Jusko; nieces, nephews and many friends. His beloved cats, Chester and Doris, also survive him. Alan was born in December 7, 1957 in Reynoldsburg, Oh., where he lived most of his life. He graduated from The Ohio State University with a B.F.A. and served in the United States Air Force Reserve. Alan was well known on Usenet newsgroups as his alter egos, the infamous JM Hunter and later as Dr. Harvie Wahl-Banghor. In newsgroups such as alt.paranoia.jm-hunter-is-stalking-me and alt.aol-sucks, he was legendary for quick wit, biting sarcasm, and ability to flame with the best of them. He will be missed very much by his family and friends. There will be no calling hours and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
