About | DALTON Brian Dalton, 52, of Gahanna, OH, passed away on Thursday, February, 24, 2011 with his loving family at his side. Brian was born on January 20, 1959 in Emporia Kansas to Wanda (Ciboski) Dalton and the late Leo Dalton. At an early age, Brian and his family moved to Ohio, and he graduated from Reynoldsburg High School, Class of '78. After graduation he attended Franklin University, and graduated with a B.A. Degree in Business Administration. He began his career with the State Judiciary System over 23 years ago, as the Office Manager for the Supreme Court of Ohio, Court of Claims division. Brian was an avid sports fan and Notre Dame junky. If Notre Dame was playing, he and his sons were watching. But above all his family came first. He attended the Peace Lutheran Church in Gahanna for over 6 years. Brian was not only a positive role model for his sons, he was an inspiration to his coworkers and friends. Throughout his career he touched the lives of many people and they are now better because of him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Along with his mother Wanda, Brian is survived by his wife, Debbie Dalton; sons, Ryan, Daniel, and Ben; siblings, Geralyn (Geoff) Ludwig, Col. Kent (Jenny) Dalton, Sheila (Lt. Col. Dan) Daniels, Craig (Christine) Dalton; parents-in-law, Dave (Barb) Falkenberg; sister-in-law, Chris Falkenberg, brother-in-law, Mike (Marie) Falkenberg. He is also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. The family will be receiving friends at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, OH, on Sunday from 4-8 p.m., and Monday 10-11 a.m. prior to service at the Church. Service will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Peace Lutheran Church, 455 Clark State Rd., Gahanna, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Kai Nilsen officiating. Interment will be private.
