HOMA Jeannie Jane (Kerns) Thoma, 55, of Reynoldsburg, passed away into the arms of her Lord on September 24, 2012 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born March 20, 1957 to Ray and Madge (Damron) Kerns in Pikeville, KY. Jeannie graduated from Reynoldsburg HS in 1975, and worked many years as a social worker for Franklin Co. Children's Services. She is also a member of the New Song Community Church. Jeannie is preceded in death by her grandparents Hibbard and Kentucky Damron and Clarence and Ella Mae Kerns. She is survived by her loving parents, Ray and Madge; son, Matthew (Nicole) Ross of Newark; grandsons, Gabriel, Leland, Adrian Ross of Newark; brother, Douglas Bruce (Michele) Kerns of Reynoldsburg; and nieces, Neseana Blackwell, Alexis (Joe) McCann of Columbus; and many loving family and friends, who will miss her. Friends may call at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, on WEDNESDAY, September 26, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Thursday, 10-11 a.m. Her funeral service will immediately follow on Thursday, 11 a.m. with Pastor Chris Phillips officiating.
