| About | McDonald, Sidney Ann (Rissmann) McDONALD Mrs. Sidney Ann (Rissmann) McDonald, age 54, of Gahanna, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at her residence. Sidney was very active in the Gahanna community through her affiliation with the Mifflin Presbyterian Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher. Since 1976, she had a successful career as a special Education Teacher. Since 1987 she has been with the Reynoldsburg School System. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, David Prescott McDonald; their son, Jason David McDonald of Gahanna; her mother, Glendolyn Rissmann; a brother, Scott (Jane) Rissmann; a sister, Dr. Stacie Rissmann-Joyce all of Davenport, Iowa; brother-in-law, John (Cindy) McDonald; sister-in-law, Ellen (Mike) Wheelock; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2008, with Pastor Stephanie Boaz, officiating.
