| About | David L. Riemesch, age 71 of Lima, died at 6:41 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 1, 1947 in Lima; to the late Frederick 'Fritz' and Frances I. Mechling Riemesch. Mr. Riemesch graduated from Shawnee High School. After high school, he enlisted into the U.S. Air Force. Following his time in the service, he went to work with Ford Motor Company where he retired from. He enjoyed the companionship of his four legged companion, Buddy. He is survived by 2 brothers - Robert 'Bob" (Joyce) Riemesch of NC; Willis J. 'Bill' (Judy) Riemesch of Lima; 2 sisters - Dianna (Richard) Eiche of IL; Ruth Closson of Lima and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Rev. Kelly Waltz will officiate. Burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allen County Humane Society. |
