About | Jeri Dotson-Modschiedler (MO) , age 39 of Lima Ohio, lost her fight with cancer in the comfort of her home with her husband at her side on Monday, August 11th, 2014 at 6:58 a.m. She was born August 6th, 1975 to Wayne and Sarah (Severt) Dotson in St Mary's Ohio. Jeri was a 1993 graduate of Shawnee High School and a very active parent in the Shawnee sports programs. Jeri was a 911 dispatcher with the Allen County Sheriffs Office for more then 10 years where she dedicated her life to helping others. This was evident in every aspect of Jeri's Life. She was always making sure everyone around her was taken care of. Jeri's hobbies include riding motorcycles, gardening, actively participating in her children's activities and spending time with her family. Jeri gave new meaning to FAMILY FIRST! She spent the last days of her life surrounded by family and friends. She is survived by: Her loving husband Konrad J. Modschiedler also from Lima Ohio and her children Konrad (Jr.) Modschiedler 22 of Jacksonville North Carolina Aaron Modschiedler, 17 of West Milton Ohio And Tahler Modschiedler 13, Madison Modschiedler 12, Payton Modschiedler 10, Kennedi Modschiedler 2, and Louden Modschiedler 1 Her loving mother, brothers and sisters: Sarah Dotson of Lima, Ohio, John (Molly) Dotson of Charleston South Carolina Jim (Rae) Dotson of Columbus Ohio, Jeff (Toni) Dotson and family of New Castle Indiana, Joe & (Sarah) Dotson of Chicago Illinois, Jay & (Missy) Dotson of Westerville Ohio, Janet (Bob) Gordon and family of Convoy Ohio, And Joanne (Mark) Adams of Columbus Ohio She was preceded in death by her Father Wayne Dotson on April 14, 2006. The family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Wednesday and the funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Shawnee Community Church with Rev. Bryan Bucher officiating and the burial will follow at Shawnee Cemetery. The family is requesting in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the family to be divided and deposited in the children's 529 college savings accounts.
