Steven Christopher Barry, Sr., 44, of Graytown, OH, died suddenly at his home Tuesday, July 14, 2009. He was born November 12, 1964, in Lima, OH, to Norbert and Barbara (Hellwarth) Barry. He was a 1983 graduate of Shawnee High School, Lima, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from The Ohio State University and received his Masters of Science in Wildlife Management from Mississippi State University. On November 13, 1999, he married the former Emily Stolz. Steve was a Wildlife Biologist for the Ohio Division of Wildlife at Crane Creek State Park, Oak Harbor. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel where he served on Parish Council. He was also a member of Pheasants Forever. Steve loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Survivors include his wife, Emily of Graytown; children, Steven Christopher Jr., Emma Catherine and Estella Louise all at home; mother, Barbara Barry of Lima, OH; sisters, Kimberly (Mike) McGough of Lima, Rebecca Barry of Delphos, OH; father and mother-in-law, Charles and Susan Stolz of Oak Harbor; brother-in-law, Robert (Kelly) Stolz of Xenia, OH; nephews, Brandon Morse and David Stolz, and niece, Zoe Morse. He was preceded in death by his father, Norbert Barry in 1998. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-8 p.m. at the Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor, where a Parish Wake Service will begin at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 20, 2009, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel with the Rev. David Reinhart officiating. Interment will be in Elliston Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the family for the children's educational fund or Our Lady of Mt.
