| About | STEVEN L. HITCHNER, 56, of Las Vegas, formerly of Lima, died Dec. 11, 2005, in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 7, 1949, in Lima to Lewis A. and Betty Jean Grass Hitchner. His father preceded him in death. His mother, Betty Jean Whitley, survives in Lima. Mr. Hitchner was a 1968 graduate of Shawnee High School and attended Kent State University. He had lived in Las Vegas for the last 20 years. Survivors also include three sisters, Bonnie (Bob) Coover of Delaware, Ohio, Connie (Ted) Cornwell of Lima and Carrie (Bob) Hunsley of Royal Oak, Mich.; two nephews, Chris Harrod and Justin Cornwell; five nieces, Michelle Fendrick, Heidi Callan, Heather Durren, Hope Warren and Mariah Cunningham; and 10 great-nieces and -nephews. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Heath Niles Warren, who died March 4, 1982. There will be no public services or visitation. Burial of the cremains will be in Shawnee Cemetery. |
