| About | Evonne Croskey, 52, of Wooster, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004, at Wooster Community Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Custer-Glenn Funeral Home, Wooster with the Rev. Clancy Cruise officiating, followed by interment at Apple Creek Cemetery. She was born Sept. 11, 1951, in Wooster to Calvin and Susie (Holmes) Cruise and has been a life long resident of Wooster. She had worked for Wooster Community Hospital and previously with Horn Nursing Center for many years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed nature and especially bird watching and was a kind hearted and caring person who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.She is survived by her fiance, Dwayne S. Wenger of Wooster; a daughter, Deanna Lottman of Akron; a sister, Alice V. Bishop of Reedsburg; three brothers, James Cruise of Reedsburg, Carl (Mary) Cruise of Wooster and Arthur "Tony" (Leora) Cruise of Oklahoma; an aunt, Rosie Bordwine of Abington, Va.; many nieces, nephews and cousins and a special friend, Ruth Barnett of Holmesville.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Cruise and two sisters, Athleen Cowell and Ardith Cruise. |
