| About | Norma Jean Dotson, 63, of Wooster, died peacefully at her home Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015. Norma was born July 5, 1951 in Tazewell County, Va., to the late Dellie and Jewell Louise (Meade) Dotson and was raised by her aunt and uncle, Emmette and Margie Meade. She was a 1969 graduate of Triway High School and graduated from Wooster Business College. She had worked at Horn's Nursing Home in Wooster and had made her home in the Wooster area most of her life. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, reading and visiting her friends and the patients at Horn's Nursing Home. Surviving are brothers, Darrell (Lois) Dotson, Charlie Dotson and Connie Lee Dotson, all of Wooster; a sister and a brother of the heart, Willi (Harold) Boyd and Kenneth (Nancy) Meade, both of Wooster; an aunt, Hazel Whitt; and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by sisters, Janice Miller and Judy Johnson; and a brother, Curtis Meade. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Murray Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, with Pastor Bob Grover officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
