About Sharon Marie Vlcek, 65, of Wooster, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, at LifeCare Hospice in Wooster, after several month’s battle with cancer.

She was born April 2, 1951, in Wooster, the daughter of Ershel and Betty Carmichael Bray, and was a graduate of Triway High School.

She had worked for Smith’s Grocery as a bookkeeper and retired from Nash Finch as a sales rep. She was a sweet, very simple, very loving person. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be deeply missed by everyone. Sharon always had a smile on her face, was loved so much and will be deeply missed.

She loved crafts, horseback riding and all kinds of needlework. She was also a volunteer for Change for Chance.

Surviving are her husband, Donald Vlcek; her mother, Betty Carmichael Emler of Wooster; sons, Brian (Julie) Uhl of Hodgenville, Ky., and Jason Uhl of Smithville; step-daughters, Jennifer (Greg) Kovach of North Olmsted and Kristen Vlcek of Las Vegas; grandchildren, Alexis, Daulton, McKenzie and Lena Uhl; step-grandchildren, Bradley Fueglein and Katarina Kovach; a sister, Carolyn (David) Funk of Wooster; a step-brother, Tom Emler of Akron; and nieces and nephews. Also her canine companion, Princess.

Sharon was preceded in death by her father and step-father, Earl Emler.

Private family services will be held. McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mcintirebradhamsleek.com.
