| About | Charles E. Foy, 61, of Urbana, passed away peacefully, Sunday, September 27, 2009 in the VA Medical Center, Dayton, surrounded by his family. He was born July 13, 1948 in Urbana. Charles graduated in 1968 from Urbana High School. He served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Charles is survived by his mother, Mary Wilkins of Urbana, his son, Josh (Tiffany) Foy of Hilliard and his daughter, Jennifer Foy of Springfield, MO. He is preceded in death by his father, Herbert Wilkins. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME Urbana. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Following his wishes his body will be cremated. Inurnment will be held at the family convenience in Oak Dale Cemetery Urbana. |
