| About | David H. Hill Jr., 56, of Columbus, Ohio, went to be with the Lord Sunday, April2, 2006, in his residence following a long battle with cancer. He was born in Urbana on July 16, 1949, to David H. and Ruth L. (Hawkins) Hill. David was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He is survived by his wife, Joyce (Westfall) Hill, four sons, David Mond, Jason Howell, Kyle Hill and Daniel Hill, a daughter, Debra Robinson, and a sister, Connie Watters, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Edward Hill. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 7, 2006, at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church, East Market Street, Urbana, Ohio. Funeral services will follow at noon in the church with Pastor Karen Cook. Burial will follow in Oak Dale Cemetery, Services are entrusted to the Vernon Funeral Home of Urbana. Memorial gifts may be made to the family in care of Vernon Funeral Home, 235 Miami Street, Urbana, Ohio. |
