| About | Ellen Kerns Brown, age 64, of Columbus, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014. She was born August 21, 1950 in Urbana, Ohio to Harry and Virginia Kerns. She joined a brother, David and sister, Judith. Ellen was quiet; funny; loved the poem "The Swing"; the Beatle, John; Elvis; the totem Butterfly, the flower daisy and the colors purple, lavender and yellow; singing harmony and dancing; animals; and trips to Muzzy's Lake. She worked as a nurse aide at University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and Ross Hospital in Ross, California. She was intuitive, compassionate and uniquely beautiful. She was loved and will be missed. She is preceded in death by her mother, father and brother and survived by her sister, Judy. Arrangements entrusted to SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, Columbus.
