| About | RBANA - Hershel Earl Rogan Jr., 72 of Urbana, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 31, 2021 in his home. Hershel was born October 10, 1948 in Urbana, Ohio the son of the late Hershel E. and May Louise (Moss) Rogan. He enjoyed drawing, playing poker, fishing, looking for greens, watching westerns, National Geographic, and watching sports. Hershel loved horses and horse racing. Hershel is survived by his children, Hershel, Angela (Gill), Tennille (William), Shane (Kim) and Brian (Malisa); siblings, Charles, Larry (Shannon), Valerie Andrews-Rogan and Rhonda Rogan; sister-in-law, Vicki Rogan; special friend, Ben Andrews; special cousins, Sherri Rogan and Claude Moss; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Special shout out to the mothers of his children, Angela Bowshier and Mary Kitchen. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lewis Rogan; sister, Marilyn Long-Wright; nephew, Troy Byrd as well as many uncles and aunts. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio. A Homegoing service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
