| About | Jared Wayne McCauley, 69, of Dallas, WV passed away on Monday December 2, 2019 at home. He was born on January 12, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV son of the late Robert and Lenora (Towles) McCauley. Jared was a proud Veteran of the United States Military. He served for 6 years with the Navy and was assigned to a nuclear submarine. Later he entered the US Army and was an Airborne Ranger retiring after 15 years with the rank of Captain. He acquired his Masters Degree through Marshall University, was a retired Federal Police Officer and also taught Criminal Justice at Jefferson Community College. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Marirobin (Dulaney) McCauley; children, Sean McCauley, Richard “Herc” (Angie) Riggle, Julie (Garrett) Magers; grandchildren, Angelina, Eli, Morrigan, Richard, Colten, Micaela; brothers, Larry (Vicki) McCauley and Terry McCauley. There will be no visitation and a celebration of Jared's life will be held in the future.
