About URBANA - Larry Michael King, 71, of Circleville, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born on August 24, 1949, in Urbana, Ohio, the son of the late James and Rosemary (Crego) King.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Jo King, who passed away on January 16, 1980.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Lori King and Jodi (Robert) Carder; grandchildren, Jessica Dunkle, Brittany (Josh) Carroll, Haley (BJ) Radcliff, Hannah (Scott) Bartholow, Sydnie Smith (Collin) and Elizabeth Carder (Justin); great-grandchildren, Jerick, Laydin, Carson, Amellia, Rhett, Brielle, Jaida, Brody, Crew and one due in February, Boston; and brother, Steven (Jackie) King.

Larry was a proud veteran serving in the United States Coast Guard and was employed at the VA Medical Center for 39 years as a Physician's Assistant. He was a master mason and a member of the Urbana Masonic Lodge. Larry was a volunteer firefighter and advanced EMT for the Scioto Township where he held the rank of lieutenant and captain. He was also a member of the Board of Education in Union-Scioto counties for 8 years, member of the Sewer board, Credit Union board and was a referee and umpire for 25 years for OHSSA for basketball, football and baseball.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 12:30p.m. – 2p.m. at WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, Urbana, Ohio with service beginning at 2p.m. A live stream of his service can be found at the Walter & Lewis Funeral Home Facebook page. This stream will not be live until directly before the service begins. Burial with military honors will follow at Oak Dale Cemetery.
