Born June 29, 1925, in Urbana on his father, Hardy's, birthday, he graduated from UHS in the class of 1943, served in the US Navy in WWII, received his BS in Aerospace Engineering and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Esther, 3 children, 14 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren. Burial was Sept 8 in Oakdale Cemetery in Urbana, next to his father.
