| Events | Michael Dennis Brown, age 62, of Berea, Ohio, passed away January 10, 2022. He was born in Hornell, New York on January 21, 1959 to Bryce and Audrey Brown (nee Dowling). He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved nieces Audrey Gallo and Heather Brown. He is survived by siblings Bryce (Krista), Audrey Gallo (Dale), Thomas, Timothy (Debra), Nancy Pfeil, Christopher (Kristi) and many nieces and nephews. Mike Graduated from Westlake Highschool in 1977 and received a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Cleveland State University Fenn College of Engineering in 1982. Mike worked in various roles at Goodrich Landing Gear for 25 years, including Product / MRB Engineer. Mike was a devoted son and generous brother, uncle, and friend. He was known for his fun-loving sense of humor and quick wit. He was beloved by his nieces and nephews for inventing and playing fun games, climbing over or crawling under the fence to explore the woods, and for buying the coolest toys and Happy Meals. Everyone loved "Uncle Mike". He was an avid history and genealogy buff and collector of historical items. He loved scouring flea markets and yard sales for rare and unique pieces to add to his collection. Mike enjoyed traveling, often taking trips to historic locations with family and friends and always brought back many souvenirs. Mike lived a very fulfilling life and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Friends and family may call for a visitation from 3:00pm - 7:00pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Busch Funeral Home 163 Avon Belden Rd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. |
