| About | Michael Blaine Groves, 57, of Kettering died Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at his home. He was born June 29, 1953 in Charleston, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Blaine Groves. He is survived by his mother, Nina Maxine Groves, of Monroe Township in Adams County; once sister, Donna Sue Groves, of Monroe Township; one nephew, Frederick W. Matson, of Cincinnati; two uncles, Oral Ray Groves, of Flatwoods, Kentucky and Charles Groves, of Huntington, West Virginia; and three aunts, Doris M. Groves, of St. Albans, West Virginia, Ruby Paxton, of Big Chimney, West Virginia and Irene Facemire, of Sutton, West Virginia. He was a 1971 graduate of Xenia High School and was a computer programmer. Mr. Groves' cremains will be scattered in Roane County, West Virginia at the convenience of the family. There will be a memorial service at Colony of Kettering apartment complex in the spring of 2011. Arrangements are by Lafferty Funeral Home, Inc. in West Union. |
