| About | Rex Dale VanPelt Rex Dale VanPelt, age 59 of Xenia died on June 26, 2011 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Eugene, and Ruby Louise (Hammond) VanPelt. He is survived by his loving wife Beverly Kay VanPelt, his children Virginia Louise Teeple (Tim), Maryann Shinkle (Jamison), and Esther Kay; sisters Janet Louise Drake (Robert), Charlotte Ann Bottoroff (Rick), and Evelyn Gay Beekman (Gary); and his brother Glenn David Fittro (Fay). Rex is also survived by his sister-in-law Ann Broyles (Dave), brothers-in-law Dan Harker, Jeff Harker (Nancy), and Mark (Harker); grand-children: Tyler Teeple, Alexis Teeple, Erica Shinkle, and Dominick Shinkle. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Lola and Fred Harker. Rex was a big fan of old movies as well as classical music. He worked as a Primary Care Assistant for Green Memorial Hospital for over 40 years. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday June 30, 2011 at McColaugh Funeral Home Inc. 826 North Detroit St., Xenia, Ohio.
