| About | Alberta M. Gaumer 94 of Zanesville passed away Wednesday February 17, 2016 at Genesis Hospital. She was born June 21, 1921 in Elm Grove, WV a daughter of the late Earl and Cora Dale Wilson Morgan. She was a 1940 graduate of Lash High School and was a graduate of Merideth Business College. Over the years she had worked at the Bureau of Unemployment, Mosaic Tile, Good Samaritan Business office and Essex Wire. She was a member of the Ohio Eastern Star Chapter 485 and Coburn United Methodist Church. Alberta is survived by one daughter Cindy (Ron) Harrison; one son Gregory (Judy) Gaumer; three grandchildren Corinna Bing, Eric Draper and Matthew Gaumer; four great grandchildren; nephews Donald Goodyear, Philip Barnes and Ted Jenkins; nieces Coralie Wilson and Bertha Glosser. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Victor James Gaumer on October 6, 2002; one son Jeffrey C. Draper; one brother Monzell E. Morgan; one sister Mabel Burgess; nephew Dale Morgan; Nieces Donna Ditty and Dorothy Fusner; Sister-in-laws Ruby Keller, Bernice Jenkins and Glady s Barnes. Calling hours will be held from 11am until time of services at 1pm on Saturday February 20, 2016 in the Snouffer Chapel of THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Eastern star services will be held at 12:30 followed by funeral services officiated by Pastor Justin Williams. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery. |
