| About | Alta Brown Davis, 87, of 750 Findley Ave., died at noon Tuesday,March 9, 1982 at Good Samaritan Medical Center following a long illness. Born December 31, 1894 to John H. and Allian Brown, she was a lifetime resident of Zanesville, she was a member of the Central Trinity Methodist Church since 1922 and was secretary for the church for 15 years, a choir member for 50 years and a former teacher of the Cen-Tri class for the church. She was a member of the Elizabeth Rebekah Lodge and its secretary for 30 years and was a member of the ABWA. Surviving are several cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest E. Davis, whom she married December 31, 1917. Interment will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum. |
