She was born in Zanesville, to the late Merle Lewis and Mary White Merry and graduated from Lash High School. She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Kessler; son-in-law, Russ Weaver; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert A. Merry; sister-in-law, Bernice "Andi" Merry; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Erwin was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Philip Erwin; her daughter, Marilyn Weaver; and her brother, Edward L Merry. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. today, March 21, 2008, at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home, 935 Forest Ave., with burial to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
