About | Anna Mae Thompson, 94, of Nashport, Ohio died Thursday morning, July 15, 2021 at the Oaks at Bethesda, Zanesville. Born October 8, 1926 in Zanesville, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Elba and Alma (Hayes) Kendall and was a graduate Lash High School. She was a member of Nashport United Methodist Church for over 75 years. Surviving is a daughter, Deborah Weber of Zanesville; six grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Thompson, Jr., who died March 22, 2019; two daughters, Rebecca Thompson who died August 14, 2012 and Barbara "Babs" Hankinson who died March 19, 2013; a grandson, Kyle Weber; three brothers, Henry, Carl and Paul Kendall; four sisters, Josephine Obrne, Ella Tuttle, Nella Ferrell and Thelma Denman In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made Nashport United Methodist Church, 7941 O'Bannon Road, Nashport, Ohio 43830 or Genesis Hospice – Morrison House, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701. Calling hours will be from Noon to 1pm Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the funeral home with Pastor Ken Daft and Pastor Dan Smith officiating. Burial will be in Irville Cemetery. |
