About Anne Allison Hoffer 62 of Zanesville passed away Thursday April 22, 2021 at Genesis Hospital. She was born in Zanesville on December 12, 1958 a daughter of Norma “Dorbie” Allison Littick and the late William Orville Littick.

Anne was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and Sunday was reserved for football, both Cowboys and Fantasy Football. She served as Commissioner of the Zanesville Downtown Athletic Club Fantasy Football League since 1987. Also, a lifelong Super fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and Zanesville Blue Devil teams. Anne enjoyed playing games with and spending time with her grandchildren, above all else. She attended as many school, dance, cheer and sporting events as possible, always being their number one fan! Her Premier Designs jewelry business was dear to her heart, but she also loved reading books, going to movies with Tim and the kiddos, and spending time watching birds and loving on her dogs.

Over the years, her volunteer hours numbered in the thousands for school and other local organizations. Most dedicated to Zanesville City Schools and Y-City Midget League, she was also a champion of local animals, being the Administrator and founder of the Lost Pets page on Facebook, former Board member of the Muskingum Animal Shelter Society and constant proponent of Adopt, Don’t Shop, always rescue! A two time kidney recipient, she also a volunteer and supporter of Donate Life Ohio and was honored with their Gold Award.

Anne was a current member of Central Trinity United Methodist Church; volunteer for lifeline of Ohio, two time kidney recipient, three time Ohio School Boards Association Award of Achievement, Southeast Regional Board Member of the year OSBA, Ray Thomas Community Service Award and a Golden Ambassador Award from Lifeline of Ohio.

Her past affiliations include: Zanesville City School Board, 1994-2013, Two time President ZCSB, four years, Attended Dillion School, Westview, Roosevelt Junior High and graduated from ZHS in 1976, Member of the Zanesville Devilettes State Champions, Girl Scout Leader, Cheer Coach at Grover Cleveland Middle School for four years, Assistant Volunteer Cheerleading Coach at Zanesville High School. Alfred Carr Center Board Member for six years, Muskingum Animal Shelter Society Board Member, Y-City Midget League Board Member, North Bears Biddy Football Officer and Cheerleader Coach, Save Y-City Committee, ZHS Cheer Boosters Past President for three years, ZHS Baseball Boosters for three years, ZHS Soccer Booster, Westview Elementary PTO, Roosevelt PTO Officer, and a Classroom volunteer at Rufus Putnam Community School for five years.

She is survived by her husband Timothy Hoffer, whom she married June 12, 1976; children Stephanie Michelle Hoffer Jones, William Joseph (Kari Irene Howard) Hoffer, Thomas Morris (Kristen Elizabeth Hanson) Hoffer; granddaughters Kassidy Alexis Jones, Kaia Allison Jones, Kenley Elizabeth Hoffer and Abby Mae Hoffer; grandsons, Hunter Thomas Hoffer, William Joseph Hoffer, Jr. and Grant Douglas Hoffer; siblings Hank (Sheri) Littick, Tom Littick, Bill Littick and Jeannie (Trent) McGlade; First cousins, Linda (Gene) Bailey, Jack (Beth) Bolinger, Gwenn Cianci, Audrey Baxley, Derk and Mark Allison, Lee Tobin Wyler; nephews Toby LIttick, Declan McGlade, Joe Hoffer, Billy Hoffer, Chris Hoffer, Paul Hoffer, James Hoffer, David Hoffer, Steve Hoffer, Matt Hoffer, Andy Hoffer, Spencer Littick and Mark Hoffer; Nieces: Maddison Littick, River Freuh, Cheryl Chester, Debbie Ruff, Theresa Howenstine, Lisa Wiseman, Jennifer Ritchey, Melissa Covey, Christine Hoffer, Tessa Littick, Lexi Littick and Chantell Sowers Wofter and many great nieces and nephews. Special friends: Karen Hardman and Brenda Maxhimer.

Loving dogs, Zeke and Landry of the home and Koshin, Koko, Kobe and Brutus Buckeye, along with many others, who lovingly greeted her at the Rainbow Bridge.

Many children she has coached and volunteered with over the years, along with the many friends of her children that are part of her family.

She was preceded in death by her Daddy, William O. Littick, who passed July 19, 1970, Grandparents, Anne and Orville Littick and H. Barden and Ella Allison, Mother and father-in-law, Morris and Luella Hoffer, beloved cousins Jane Tobin Oden and Nancy Bolinger Eddy and “brother” Dave Dilley.

Calling hours will be from 2-8 pm on Wednesday April 28 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral Services will be held at 11am on Thursday in The Snouffer Chapel with Rev. Steve Judson officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
