About | Barbara A. Lenhart, 82, of Delaware, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 11, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on October 7, 1929 to the late Orrin and Emma (Speed) Pearson. It was there she met and married her husband, Charles Milton Lenhart on January 25, 1948. Together they raised their four children in Cardington, Ohio later moving to Marion, Ohio in 1969. Barbara is survived by her four children, Marsha Slack, Craig (Sheryl) Lenhart, Rebecca (Michael) Morrow, and Molly (Rocky) Schiffel; brother, Bill Pearson of Arizona; sister, Carol (Jim) Householder of Zanesville; sister-in-law, Gloria Luther of Arizona; 8 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles in 1990; sisters Beverly Lebold Weller and Marquerite Wilcox; sisters-in-law Marianna Mack and Ruthann Pearson; brothers-in-law Dick Wilcox, Paul Luther, Pete Lebold, and Bob Mack. Barbara was known as a woman of real class. Her passion was music, but her true joy in life was her Personal Savior, Jesus Christ. She was truly a beautiful woman and was well known in high school for her long eyelashes. She was best known by her children for her strength, grace, and unwavering faith. Due to a private family service, there will be no calling hours observed.
