| About | Barbara "Bobbi" Taylor, passed away on Monday March 2, 2009 at her home. Bobbi was born on January 2, 1924 in Dresden to the late Joshua and Beatrice Stradley Dickerson. She was a graduate of Lash High School and was a homemaker. Bobbi was a member of the Zanesville Country Club and North Terrace Church of Christ where she was very active, she would bake cakes for their fundraisers and decorate the church for each season., Bobbi was an artist and a wonderful caregiver to anyone in need, above all Bobbi was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Bobbi is survived by three loving daughters, Linda (Rick) Summers of Cape Coral, Fl., Kathy (David) Lighthizer of Zanesville, and Jan (Dan) Foshee of Zanesville; two brothers, Gerry Dickerson of Indiana, and Ron (Pat) Dickerson of Tucson, AZ; two sisters, Marian Schaffer of Tucson, and Gene Baker of Tucson; six grandchildren, Randy Jackson of Phoenix, AZ, Lori Erwine of Zanesville, Adam Lighthizer of Zanesville, Andy Lighthizer of Newark, Shannon Jenkins of Ft. Worth, TX, and Sean Summers of Nashville, TN; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband who was the love of her life, Harry Clifford Taylor who passed away on July 21, 2007. Calling hours will be from 2-6pm on Thursday March 5, and from 11-1 on Friday March 6 at The Snouffer Funeral Home 1150 W, Military Rd Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday in The Snouffer Chapel with Minister Bill Meaige officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
