About | Barbara L. Williams, 83, of Zanesville, Ohio, formerly of Dresden, Ohio, died Monday evening, April 12, 2021 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville. Born August 7, 1937 in Zanesville, she was a daughter of the late Leland and Wilma (Dunn) Campbell and was a 1955 graduate of Zanesville High School. She retired from the Longaberger Company with over 20 years of service. Barbara, along with her husband Dale, were dairy farmers for many years on their farm near Dresden. She was a 4-H Advisor for over 37 years and, in 2015, she earned the John & Dorothy Montgomery Leadership Award. Barbara found great joy in playing Canasta at the Dresden Senior Center, going out to eat and spending time with her friends. Surviving is a son, Brian (Missy) Williams of Dresden; a son-in-law, Rod Dysinger of Zanesville; six grandchildren, Ashley (Brian) Wilson, Adam Black, Kelly (Josh) Griefenstine, Kristen (Donnie) Tracey, Andrew (Abbey) Williams and Austin Williams; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Dennis; two brothers, David (Mary Ellen) Campbell and Gary Campbell and many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are her very close friends, Pat and Harold Snack. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale F. Williams, who died on May 13, 2005; two sons, Wayne Williams and Jon Williams; a daughter, Vicki Dysinger and a brother, Rick Campbell. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Genesis Hospice - Morrison House and the staff at the Oaks at Northpointe. Checks payable to Ohio 4-H Foundation. Friends and family may call from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street, Dresden. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the funeral home with Rev. Carl Schaefer officiating. Barbara will be laid to rest next to her husband, Dale, at Muskingum Presbyterian Cemetery, Nashport. |
