| About | On October 17, 2009 at 6:40 a.m. at Willow Haven Nursing Home, our mother, step-mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Bettie Longfellow left this world to join her beloved mother, Clara Linna Watson (d1946); father, Howard (Rusty) Lewis (d1974); husbands, William (Bill) Stickrath (d1968) and Donald (Don) Longfellow (d1997). Bettie leaves to cherished memories her sons, Rod (Lynn) Stickrath of Roseville, Lance Stickrath and Russell (Dee Ann) Stickrath both of Zanesville; two step-sons, Chad (Angelina) Longfellow of Mt. Vernon and Jason (Jennifer) Longfellow of South Zanesville; and one step-daughter, Shayla Longfellow of Zanesville, six grandsons; three granddaughters; one great-grandson; and one great-granddaughter. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Lewis and Howard (Rusty) Jr. Lewis. Bettie was born October 25, 1933 in Layne, KY and her family moved to Zanesville that same year. She graduated from Lash High School in 1951 and worked for many years for the City of Zanesville and retired from Harts Department Store, South. |
