| About | Betty L. Walker, 92, of Zanesville, passed away at 11:43 p.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born April 26, 1920, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Gurness and Hazel Daw Brown. Betty resided at Emeritus at North Hills where she enjoyed her many dear friends. Betty is survived by her four children, Susan Walker of Columbus, OH, Carol Baldwin of Zanesville, Sharon (Michael) Perry of Endicott, NY and John L. (Jayne) Walker of Peru, IN; nine grandchildren, Eric Baldwin, Stephen Baldwin, Stacy Ransom, Kyle Baldwin, Dustin Perry, Aaron Walker, Stephanie Gray, Jennifer Musser and Janet Lowe; and 19 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Rolland L. Walker, who passed away in 1990; a sister, Bonnie Clossen; and a brother, Donald Brown. Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the funeral home with Dr. Dennis Baker officiating. Betty will be laid to rest next to her husband, Rolland, at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
