| About | Betty L. Cooper, 83, of Zanesville, died at 4:05 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Muskingum County Home. She was born March 14, 1927 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Denzil and Hilda Zollars Cooper. Betty retired as an elementary school teacher for Zanesville City Schools. She was a member of First Christian Church where she served as a Deaconess and was a member of the Pairs and Spares Sunday School Class. She enjoyed doing crafts such as crocheting and making jewelry. Betty is survived by brothers, Donald (Ida) Cooper and Kenneth (Margo) Cooper all of Zanesville; nieces, Jane Cooper, Susan (Todd) Thompson, Sharon Bauer, Karen Sprankle and Cynthia (Brent) Glass; nephew, K. Brian Cooper; great nieces and nephews, Courtney, Curtis, Logan, Carson, Rachel, Ashley, Seth, Jacob and Matthew; and two great great nieces; and two great great nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Committal service will be at Zanesville Memorial Park. |
