| About | Billie Lou Rusk, 92 of Zanesville, died 4:40 PM, Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Sage Park Memory Care in Columbus. She was born Friday, July 17, 1931, in Zanesville, the daughter of August G. Kerr and Nina M. (Dew) Kerr. She married Robert "Bob" T. Rusk on September 6, 1952, and was a member of Market Street Baptist Church. Billie retired from the Muskingum County Auditor’s Office following many years of service. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Salvation Army Ladies Auxiliary and Muskingum County Women’s Republican Club. Billie is survived by three sons, Jason (Karla) Rusk of New Albany, Robert Bret (Mary) Rusk and William Bart Rusk both of Downers Grove, IL; six grandchildren; several great grandchildren and one sister, Patsy Ruth White of Fort Wayne, IN. In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband Bob Rusk who died August 3, 2006. The family greatly appreciates the care and attention Billie received at Sage Park Memory Care and Suncrest Hospice. Friends may call from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the Hillis, Combs & Nestor Funeral Home, 935 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, where funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Howard Thompson officiating. Private family committal will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. |
