About Billy “Bill” Roy King, 89 of Zanesville, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at The Oaks at Northpointe. He was born May 22, 1928 in Zanesville to the late Roy Lester and Hazel Fogle King. He was employed as a Material Requirements Planning Manager for NCR Corporation in Cambridge, where he retired after 26 years of service. Bill was an accomplished trumpet player, Director of the Bill King Orchestra and a co-founder of the Green Valley Golf Club. He was member of Norval Park Church of Christ and a Deacon of Finance at North Tenth and Clairmont Church of Christ in Cambridge and was a song leader for many years. He was a US Marine and served as a Marine Bandsman at the end of World War II and during the Korean War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Nancy Ann Comer King, whom he married August 29, 1963; twin brother Bob King; and two sisters Rita Flynn and Margaret L. King.

He is survived by his daughter Molly (Jay) Lollini, a granddaughter Maria Ann Lollini, a sister Mary Lucille Barnhouse, and a sister in law Norma (Darrell) Farquhar Shahan. Bill and Nancy had seven nieces and nephews: Ronnie (Jan) Barnhouse, David (Carolyn) Barnhouse, Vickie (Bob) Ritchie, Michelle King Lautanen, Brian (Andree) King, Jody (Bryan) Rudisill, Betsey (Bob) Farquhar Bradish; 14 great nieces and nephews; nine great great nieces and nephews; and cousins.

We would like to extend a warm thank you to our special family friends Renee Morgan, Donna McFee, our overnight caregivers, Home Instead family and special caregivers at The Oaks at Northpointe.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM Sunday, February 25, 2018 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be at 1:30PM Monday, February 26, 2018 with Keith Kress officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors by VFW Post 1058 and American Legion Post 29.
