Brannon T. Mcgee Obituary

Graduation Year Class of 2010
Date of Passing Apr 15, 2021
About Brannon Thomas McGee, 28 of Zanesville, passed away on April 15, 2021.

He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on May 16, 1992, son of James McGee and Becky Forsythe.

Brannon was well liked by many. A powerline man by trade, he had worked many jobs in faraway places until his daughter was born, then he worked local. Being handy in his younger days, he often bought and sold 4-wheelers, motorcycles, and even a few cars. He played baseball, football, boxed in Pal, and loved to fish and hunt. He was always happy to help his dad with wood splitting and bees. He was his mom’s best friend and trusted her with his money, passwords, and was willing to help her with chores around the house. He enjoyed helping with the Bike Show for many years until Big Ken gave it up. He was a great son, stepson, friend to many, and above all, he was a great father to his daughter Braylin, who loves him very much.

He is survived by his daughter, Braylin Sky McGee; father, James McGee; mother, Becky (Kenny) Forsythe; sister, Amberly Dawn McGee; step-sister, Natalie Forsythe , Rachel (Dustin) Dillie; grandparents, Robert and Judy Morrison; grandmother, Anita Jones; step-grandma, Monna McGee; special cousins, Ashley, Hazen, Travis, and Haden; Uncle Joe; and special friends Travis Harper, Brandon Burkett, Rick Chambers, and Anthony Kinkaid; and his special dog, Bug.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, James McGee; and special friend, Ricky Burkett.

Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 Monday, April 19, 2021 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
