| About | Carla J. McKown, 47, of Zanesville, died at 5:35 am Sunday September 24, 2006, at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital following a long illness. Carla was born March 19, 1959, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Russell E. and Martha J. Warne Waters. She was formerly employed by Genesis as a registered nurse, was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a 1981 graduate of Ohio University- Zanesville. A good loving wife and mother, Carla is survived by her husband of 25, years Peter J. McKown; son, Chris J. McKown of the home; uncle Harry Warne of California; aunt Doris Warne of Michigan; cousins, Ann Sparrow, Tom Kendall and Steven Kendall of Springfield, Sue Black of Kentucky, Brad Warne of California and Karen Russell of Michigan and her three cats and two dogs which she adored. Preceding her in death were her parents and brother; James Waters. Committal service will be held in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. |
