| About | Carol Lynn (Mitchell) Betts, 74, of Westerville, OH, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5th, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Lewy-body dementia. Carol was born on July 11, 1948, and was a proud 1966 graduate of Zanesville High School. She was a long-time employee of Community Mutual, Blue Cross + Blue Shield where she worked in Human Resources and was also a Personnel Recruiter for multiple companies. Carol loved to dance and go shopping. She loved to socialize with anyone and everyone, and she was well-liked by everyone who met her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Doris June and Charles Dale Mitchell. Carol is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roger Betts; daughters, Brooke (William) Shackelford and Brittany Betts and grandsons, Owen and Benjamin Shackelford. |
