Charles D. Glass, age 74 of Zanesville, OH died 1:30 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born Friday, April 11, 1947 in Zanesville, the son of Charles Edward Glass and Freda B. (Jones) Glass. Charles proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for Diebold Inc. From 1974 until his retirement in 2011. He was an avid supporter of Zanesville High School football and basketball and was a member of the Zanesville Quarterback Club and tipoff Club. He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Glass of Hilliard, close friend, caregiver and former wife, Becky Glass of Nashport, several nieces and nephews and many friends including Anne Calland, of Port Clinton. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Larry Glass. A private family funeral service will take place at a later date. |
