| About | Charles W. "Chuck" Drake, age 67, of Carroll, died Monday June 1, 2009 at Grant Medical Center. Born October 21, 1941 in Zanesville to the late Winston L. & Evelyn R. (Tague) Drake, he was a 1959 graduate of Zanesville High School. He was retired from Columbia Gas, and was a member of Ralph R. Rickly Lodge #670 F. & A.M., A.A.S.R., and Aladdin Temple Shrine. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sherry Drake; daughters, Christy (Al) McCallum, Greenville, SC, Cindy (Bryian) Hysell, Lancaster, Wendy (Bill) Barton, Naples, FL, Missy (D.J.) Feasel, King George, VA; grandchildren, Brooke Hysell, Timothy Drake Feasel, Abby & Gilly Feasel, Bryce Hysell, Jenny Rose Barton, and Jason Feasel; brothers, Mickey & Jim Drake; sisters, Lee Ann Hiles & Dee Dee Dodson; several nieces & nephews. Preceded in death by brother, Tom Drake; and sisters, Tibby & Nan Drake. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, with the family receiving friends two hours prior to the service from 1-3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may donate to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3229 Burnet Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229 in Chuck's memory. |
