| About | Charlotte Dianne Turner, 77 of Nashport, passed away February 26, 2022 at OSU Medical Center. She was born September 2, 1944 in Zanesville, daughter of the late, Elmer Ellis Longfellow and Elsie May Coler. She retired from Essex Wire, Lear and United Technologies after thirty plus years. Dianne was a member of the Nashport United Methodist Church. She loved cooking, playing cards and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her son Monty Turner; daughter Carma (Steve) Robinson; siblings, Mary Louise “Dolly” (Harlan) Anders, Robert (Karen) Longfellow, Larry (Gloria Jean) Longfellow; grandchildren, Jakala (TJ) Young, Robert “Bub” Tubbs, Paul Robert Turner; great-grandchidren, Jayla Young, Mackstyn Young, Krue Young; childhood friend for over seventy years, Charlotte Jenkins and longtime friend Beverly “Jeannie” Newsom and a special nephew who always went over and beyond for her, Raymond Longfellow. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Keith Turner; siblings, Cecil “Cork” (Virginia “Ginny”) Longfellow, Leona Maxine (Roy) Newsom, Viola (Kenneth) Longshore, Donald (Betty) Longfellow. Calling hours will be held 2-4 & 6-8 Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will take place at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 3, 2022, with Kenny Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Irville Cemetery. |
