| About | Cliff Ansel, 71, of Paso Robles, CA, died Thursday , August 3, 2000, in Southern California. Born June 15, 1929 in Zanesville, he and his family moved to Orange County in 1965. He worked in the computer industry until his retirement in 1995, when he and his wife, Fay, moved to Paso Robles. He was active in Kiwanis and received awards, including 1995-1996 Rookie of the Year and the 1999-2000 Distinguished Service Award. Surviving are his wife, Fay Ansel of Paso Robles; son Kevin (Ximena) Ansel of Irvine, CA; daughter, Erynne of Schoharic, NY; a brother, Jay Ansel of Zanesville; sister, Laura Mae Miller of Zanesville; sister and brother-in-law, Dr. Stan and Gale Carson of Huntington Beach; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Howard and Minnie Hazel Tipton Ansel; his brothers John, Thurman, Harold (Blackie) Ansel; his sisters, Cora Ferguson, Bernice Kramer, Cleda Dulmage and Mary Ellen Ferguson. A memorial service was held at 10:30 am Tuesday at Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero with Rev. Carl Billing officiating. |
